My real name is Matthew Oberhausen. I started this journal out of nowhere at 3am. I live in Houston, Texas and am about to turn 21. I have lived and learned and will continue to do so until the day I die. I enjoy the evening and dread the day; love to go to parties but don't like to talk; I'm a Navy brat who loves the ocean but hates sailing. My mother raised me but I still have inherited some of my father's habits. He's German-Irish and my mother is Hispanic, for as long as I can remember I have had an identity crisis. In the state of being both yet neither is a weird place to be. I have accepted who I am as being a person, no better or worse than anyone but I do consider myself on another level. Through these little excerpts and stories hopefully you'll see the kind of person I am and take you beyond this drab intro. To be on the gallows and in the chair, to be the judge and the judged, the gentleman and the punk. Walk the line and God cuts you down with every step.
